Established in 2012 by Zayd Ali, myUmbrella was initially founded as a collective of design professionals to combat the struggles of the global financial crisis. Since 2016, myUmbrella has been operating as an LLC — yet the spirit of the collective continues. Our experience is one of struggle and thus we are always passionate for taking projects that have “unique” challenges and require unique solutions – we always try to think outside the box when the time calls for it. In addition to providing turn-key projects to clients directly, we also specialize in developed, detail design and consents for other design firms — the latter we continue to do past our many years as a collective. Having led and worked on a variety of projects that range from residential to commercial, renovations to new builds. We consider each of the projects that come our way to be a new challenge and we always dive in with strong design ethic, visualization, and apply our creativity when it is allowed to flourish.
